Medicine-Pediatrics Interest Group

MPIG is an interest group for DGSOM medical students to learn more about the combined medicine and pediatrics specialty that offers a shortened 4-year residency program for those interested in both fields. Med-Peds provides the opportunity to care for a wide range of patients, from newborns to geriatrics, while also affording the option to subspecialize into fields such as cardiology, nephrology, infectious disease, and so on.
