Los Angeles (LA) Health Initiative
The Los Angeles (LA) Health Initiative at UCLA is a student-run, pre-health organization that is committed to serving the greater Los Angeles area and beyond through involvement in community health-based projects. We are currently developing a platform to not only raise community awareness regarding the latest health & medical discoveries, but to educate and actively encourage others to serve the community with us as well. Through involvement in our organization, we hope that pre-health students will gain exploratory insight and a dimensional understanding of our surrounding community, which is crucial to developing goals for further involvement through future health-oriented careers.
