Eclipse: Research Journal for East-Asian Studies at UCLA

Eclipse or “??”, pronounced “yue jing”, is the only journal based in UCLA devoted to issues on East-Asian Studies. Run by UCLA undergraduates, Eclipse embraces the identity of Asian diaspora through all kinds of forms, including but not limited to art, photography, poem, editorial, and research within the East-Asian scope. Eclipse runs a quarterly journal and is open to submission from any motivated individuals, no matter their major or background. Eclipse hopes to foster interdisciplinary intellectual discourse on East Asian studies and promote cultural awareness amid the global pandemic and rising hate targeting the AAPI community.
