First-Generation Luskin Students

The First-Generation Luskin Students (FGLS) is a student organization representing and advocating for the interests of first-generation students at the Luskin School of Public Affairs. The FGLS advances the mission to foster an accommodating, inclusive, and equitable learning environment for all UCLA Luskin students. To further promote the interest of the students, the FGLS incorporates Public Policy, Urban Planning, and Social Welfare administration and student leaders from different Luskin Caucus organizations. Every UCLA Luskin student is a member of FGLS and is invited to attend and participate in FGLS events.
