Faces of Afrikan Muslims
The Faces of Afrikan Muslim Students is a student organization committed to providing a safe space for students to engage in discussions about Black people’s contributions to Islam and the comprehensive history of Black Muslims in the U.S and in a global context. We want to bring together and provide a sense of solidarity to the Black Muslim community and highlight the isolation we experience at the hands of the broader Muslim community. Our goal is to make our events and information accessible to and inclusive of people of all backgrounds on UCLA’s campus.
