Van Gelder Jazz Ensemble
A semi Formal invite only jazz club dedicated to hosting jazz jam sessions on campus with an emphasis on standard as well as original compositions by students in the music department. The jam sessions will be recorded, with an emphasis on the using the early recording techniques of the legendary jazz producer Rudy Van Gelder. Recordings, and info from the clubs happenings will be uploaded to the club website, for UCLA students to enjoy.
