Praxis
PRAXIS is a grassroots collective for socialist and abolitionist theory development and practice based in the Luskin School. Established in 2020 by students in the Department of Urban Planning, the organization was born to challenge the carceral and exploitative status quo of city development and urban governance, especially within the ivory tower. We seek to provide students a space to co-create alternative visions of justice and liberation through socials, political education teach-ins, and hands-on practice within the UCLA community and Los Angeles at large.
